    Books, CDs sought for library sale

    The Friends of the Cinco Ranch Library annual used-book sale will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 12 at the Cinco Ranch Branch Library, 2620 Commercial Center Blvd.

    Donations are being accepted through Dec. 11 of good condition used hardback and softback books, pocketbooks, books on tape, CDs or videos. College/university textbooks and magazines are not accepted.

    Donation can be dropped at the following locations:

    • Cinco Ranch Library, 2620 Commercial Center Blvd., during library hours;
    • Simply Cinco (formerly the Cinco Ranch Information Center), 23501 Cinco Ranch Blvd. Suite C130, open seven days a week;
    • Tradition Bank, 1515 South Grand Parkway, near Highland Knolls, during banking hours.

    Members will have the first opportunity to purchase books at the members-only-preview sale, to be held 5 to 8 p.m. Dec. 11. Applications for the friends may be picked up at the Cinco Ranch Branch Library and will be available that evening at the door.

    While visiting the library, check out the friends’ continuous used-book sale. Adult and children’s materials are for sale. Prices range from 50 cents to $2.
