    Friday

    The Second Annual Festival of Trees will be held at Safari Texas’ Magnolia Ballroom at 7 p.m. This year’s festival Unwrap the Magic will honor Neil and Carolyn Banfield, Linda Hancock and Billie Neuhaus. The event will be dressed in holiday style with trees underwritten and decorated by area businesses and organizations. The decorated trees will be sold during the live auction.     Saturday

    LaCenterra will be hostting the sixth annual Home for the Holidays event. The evening begins with the Teddy Bear Parade. Children take part in this parade to welcome Santa. Participants receive glowing necklaces to light the way. There will also be plenty of activities and fun including Jingle Bounce, Create a Christmas Card & Ornament, Katy Visual & Performing Arts Center Show Choir, and more. Bring a new stuffed animal, blanket or piece of winter wear for donation to the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program benefiting area children and seniors.

    Cinco Ranch is hosting a Holiday Village Fair. Open to the public, the fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday in the Clubhouse at Heritage Grand in Cinco Ranch. Shop for one-of-a-kind gifts, homemade jams, jellies and sauces, baked goods, a Victoria Tea Room, a jewelry shop, a holiday boutique with handmade holiday decorations, gift basket, and more.
