The 7,600 acre community of Cinco Ranch posted a 15 percent gain in new home sales in 2009 compared to 2008.
Low interest rates, relocations, homebuyer tax credits and the overall attraction of living in a master planned community all played a role, I'm sure.
The overall Houston economy did not take nearly as big a hit in 2009 as other parts of the country and the housing market has reflected that.
Are you planning on selling or buying in 2010?
