    Windows 7's GodMode

    A friend of mine John Greene said, "You haven't updated your blog in a while." Touche.

    To enable 'GodMode' in Windows 7, you create a new folder and call it the following:

    GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

    From this new folder users can access the ins and outs of the operating system. I like the convenience of this as someone who accesses the control panel regularly.

    It apparently works in Windows Vista also, although some have reported some instability in the 64-bit version.

    Ina Friend over at CNET has contacted Microsoft about the hidden feature, but has not heard back anything so far.

    John thinks that the blog is cool, but I think he and his wife opening their home to local youth every Wednesday night is much, much cooler.
