    KPC will host renowned local naturalists and Houston Chronicle columnist, Gary Clark, and photographer, Kathy Adams Clark, as they share some of their favorite memories and places on the flat out wonderful Katy Prairie during a sundae social reliving memories of the Katy Prairie on Aug. 7.

    Avenue D from Franz Road intersection to Gardenia Street will be closed starting July 26 to allow workers to complete the north and southbound lanes.

    Katy-Fort Bend Road has been completed from Franz Road to Morton Road for an alternative route.

    Patty Kenjura, a culinary arts instructor at Miller Career and Technology Center in Katy, returned from her nine-day fellowship in Italy with a lesson in the origins of Slow Food and an appreciation for traditional flavors.
