Women's Volleyball: Cady Mercer, Texas A&M University-Kingsville

Cady Mercer played one set in Texas A&M University-Kingsville's 3-0 loss to Incarnate Word on Tuesday. She graduated from Katy High School High School in 2009.

Mercer is a 2009 graduate of Katy High School, where she helped the volleyball team make three straight playoff appearances. Mercer was a first-team all-district honoree during her senior season (2008-09) after earning second-team all-district accolades during her sophomore (2006-07) and junior (2007-08) campaigns. Mercet helped Katy win bi-district titles in 2006 and 2007 as well as make a regional semifinal trip in 2008. The daughter of Milton and Jan Mercer she is studying agricultural sciences with teacher certification at Texas A&M Kingsville. Mercer is from Katy.
