Raynor Oran Campbell went 0 for 3 in the Augusta GreenJackets's 5-3 loss to the Hickory Crawdads on Thursday. Campbell graduated from Katy Taylor High School.

Campbell is a 2006 graduate of Taylor High School who went on to play four seasons (2007 to 2010) of college baseball at Baylor. He played in 208 career games for the Bears posting a batting average of .305 with 24 homers and 127 RBIs. He was taken by San Francisco in the 14th round (438th overall) in the 2010 draft. He began his pro career that year with Salem-Kaizer of the Northwest League (short-season class-A) batting .261 with three home runs and 22 RBIs in 45 games. Tyler Nolan Herr pitched two innings, striking out two and allowing no earned runs Thursday in the GCL Twins's 1-0 loss at the GCL Rays. Herr graduated from Katy High School.

Herr is a 2009 graduate of Katy High School. He was selected by Minnesota in the 44th round (1332nd overall) of the 2009 Major League Baseball draft. Herr began his professional career in 2010 with the Twins' rookie team of the Gulf Coast League going 0-1 with one save and a 6.23 ERA in 14 games two of which were starts.
