The Houston Police Department received 76 calls reporting collisions on March 31. These included the following nearby incident:

A minor accident causing a disturbance was reported at 5310 Rice Ave. S. Road at 6:30 p.m. Houston police were dispatched at 6:39 p.m. and arrived at 6:45 p.m. It took until 6:51 p.m. to clear the collision. The incident number is 040396012.
