Daniel Meadows pitched two innings, striking out two and allowing no earned runs Thursday in the Huntsville Stars's 7-2 loss to the Montgomery Biscuits. Meadows graduated from Cinco Ranch High School.

Meadows in a 2006 graduate of Cinco Ranch High School. He played baseball for two seasons (2007 and 2008) at Temple College before being drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 49th round (1465th overall) of the 2008 Major League Baseball draft. Meadows was born Nov. 1, 1987 in Katy. Read more...

Amanda Marie Heise arrested on charge of theft between $50 and $500

Demarcus Desean Smith was arrested on charges of failure to control speed, failure to maintain financial responsibility by obtaining insurance, driving without a texas operator's license and driving without or with an expired inspection sticker on June 17, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. Smith, a 20-year-old black male, was booked at the Harris County Jail on June 17 and is facing class C misdemeanor charges. He resides at 19327 Hickory Meadow. Read more...

Brian Jose Gianfrancesco has been released from custody, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office. Mr. Gianfrancesco's bond was set at $200. He is listed as living at 1130 Dominion in Katy (77450). Gianfrancesco was reportedly arrested on June 16, 2012 on 2 charges, including improper change of lanes and unsafe speed. Read more...
