Daily update: Bicyclist injured in hit-and-run

A bicyclist was seriously injured overnight when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver near the intersection of Fry Road and the Katy Freeway feeder, authorities said. Around 12:45 a.m. today, the injured man's mangled bike was found about 50 yards from where he was lying.

The victim was hospitalized in serious condition. There were no witnesses to the collision.
