Recently rezoned students from Seven Lakes and Cinco Ranch high schools have until March 12 to take advantage of a one-time Volunteer Enrollment Option if they would like to move to the new high school next year instead of staying in their current school until graduation.

Do you think this whole rezoning process will address the overcrowding at Seven Lakes and boost the under enrollment at Taylor as intended?

Suzanne Rehak photoAccording to Houston’s Foreclosure Information & Listing Service, foreclosure postings were up 32 percent last year in Fort Bend County, from 5,398 in 2008 to 7,151 in 2009.

But the Katy area reported a 9 percent drop last year.

'Locking down the school was the right decision. Am I the only one who is surprised that someone even noticed this incident. A teacher told my daughter something totally different as to why the school was locked down...'
