published Jan. 3, 2013The first baby of the new year was born at Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital at 12:32 a.m. Jan. 1. Angel Ibarra, the son of Rubi Cortes and Jose Ibarra, weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces and measured 19 1/2 inches. The delivering doctor was Mohammed Kabir.
