Cinco Ranch students compete in regional robotics tournament

The Cinco Ranch Junior High Robotics Team recently competed in a South Texas robotics tournament.

Team CRypton, one of two Cinco Ranch Junior High robotics teams, competed in the First Lego League (FLL) South Texas Lone Star Championship Tournament, held at the University of Houston on Dec. 11.

The team made it to the Sweet 16 round after qualifying in a local tournament in November.

Team CRypton is coached by Grace Herrmann, a junior at Cinco Ranch High School and a member of CRyptonite Robotics, the Cinco Ranch High School team. Ron Simper is the faculty advisor, and the team members are Mark Addison-Smith, Britton Bowlin, Dylan Bray, David Gros and James Yoder.
