Katy translator to wed
A Spanish translator from Katy has filed an application to get married.
Rolando Godoy, who has spent the past 35 years as a translator, will marry Joanne Lillian Kuci.
Godoy is a 1969 graduate of Georgetown University. During his career he has translated documents in Spanish, French and Portuguese for the law, oceanography and oil industries, among others.
Their wedding application is pending.
