Building and developments in Katy

Construction has begun in Katy on two new apartment complexes. One, located near Katy-Fort Bend Road and Roesner Road, is well under construction, while the second, just west of Grand Parkway, has only recently broken ground.  

Also in the works are plans to put in the St. Luke's Katy Hospital near the Roesner Road apartment complex.  

Along with the new housing and health facilities, Katy is expanding its local businesses. A new garden center is underway near Westgreen. It will be the second branch in Katy of the Houston Garden Center. Builders plan for the center to be open in time for planting in the spring.
