Katy attraction succumbs to Grand Parkway
Although no government agency has said it has the money to build Segment E of the Grand Parkway, at least one business on the proposed route is confident enough that the roadway will be built that it has announced plans to close.
As reported by Swamplot, Forbidden Gardens, a Katy museum featuring replicas of ancient Chinese historic and cultural sites, says on its website that the museum "will be closing soon to make way for the Grand Parkway expansion."
