HS girls basketball: Katy defeats Morton Ranch
Katy annihilated Morton Ranch 41-11 in District 19-5A high school girls basketball action on Tuesday.
Things were over quickly as Katy took a 15-point lead at the half.
The win ups Katy to 12-15 on the season, including 3-5 in district play.
Sophomore Marley Brown had a big game with 14 points. Megan Jackman also added in a dozen.
Katy will next host Mayde Creek on Friday at 7 p.m.
The loss drops Morton Ranch to 7-21 on the season and 0-9 in district play.
Sophomore Amber Howard scored seven points for the losing team.
Morton Ranch will next visit Seven Lakes on Friday at 7 p.m.
