HS boys basketball: Faith West defeats Cypress Christian
Faith West Academy defeated Cypress Christian in District TAPPS 7-3A hoops action on Tuesday.
The Eagles won the game 51-47, moving to 1-8 overall and 1-3 in district play. Jarren Brown, a senior, scored 13 points in the victory.
Faith West will host Woodlands Christian on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
Tuesday’s loss dropped the Warriors to 15-11 on the year and 3-5 in district games. Evan Doremus, a junior guard, scored 15 points in the defeat.
Cypress Christian will visit Woodlands Christian on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
