Taylor choir members excel at regional competition

Taylor High School choir members recently participated in the Region 23 Solo & Ensemble Contest at Mayde Creek High School.

Several students scored a "Superior" rating, which qualifies them for the State Solo & Ensemble Contest to be held in Austin in May.

Qualifying are Kaitlyn Budke, Cecelia Childs, Erin Connors, Mary Cook, Jean Durbin, Hayley Edmondson, Jasmine Johnson, Allison Kuhn, Edna Mancia, Alexandra Ngo, Alyssa Orlando, Melanie Piche, Natalia Romero, Emily Sarlls, Zachary Burch, Stephen Hargis, Nick Hlousek, Will Rushing and James Resch.
