Katy Fire Dept. to host blood drive Friday
The Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center will host a blood drive with the City of Katy Fire Department on Friday, April 29, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
“Commit for Life” donors will receive “Commit for Life” points for their donation to use in the online store. For additional "Appointment-Kept Points," visit www.commitforlife.org/gcrbc to view available times and to schedule a donation.
Sixty percent of the United States population is eligible to donate blood, but only 5 percent do. Individuals can help maintain a strong blood supply by choosing to “Commit for Life” and donate at least once a quarter.
The drive will be held at the Katy Fire Department, located at 1417 Ave. D.
