Katy resident sues General Motors over 2007 Pontiac Solstice
A Katy resident is suing General Motors over claims the company failed to repair her defective Pontiac Solstice.
Katy resident Margaret Boyd filed a lawsuit on May 16 in the Harris County District Court against General Motors Inc., alleging breach of written warranty.
Boyd says that on Nov. 20, 2006, she purchased a 2007 Pontiac Solstice from Ernie Guzman Pontiac GMC, which included a three-year or 36,000-mile warranty. According to the brief, General Motors breached these warranties by failing to repair, among other things, the car’s defective engine, oil leak and inoperative convertible top.
Boyd is seeking all damages to which she is entitled, attorney’s fees and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Chicago attorney Robert Kiddie.
