Where are the lowest gas prices in Katy this week?
The average price of gas in Katy slid 4 cents from last week, based on data retrieved from gasbuddy.com.
As of June 24, the average gasoline price for the 57 local stations in Katy was around $3.468 per gallon. This was based on data submitted by users of the price-tracking website gasbuddy.com. The Katy average was cheaper than the averages of Texas ($3.490) and the nation as a whole ($3.623), while about one cent higher than the Greater Houston-area average ($3.460).
Last week's average was $3.509 per gallon of regular unleaded gasoline.
The cheapest station in Katy was reported by users to be the Valero at 5710 Highway Blvd. and Avenue B, which was charging a per-gallon price of $3.39.
Gasbuddy.com users have identified two stations that offered the most expensive rate of regular unleaded gasoline in the area, $3.59 per gallon. These stations were the Shell at 23255 Kingsland Blvd. and South Grand Parkway, and the Chevron at 23307 Cinco Ranch Blvd. and Grand Parkway. The Shell station has been the most expensive station for two consecutive weeks.
