Registration opens for CrossPoint youth football in Katy

Registration is now open for pre-season Tackling Camp and fall season CrossPoint Youth Football.

Tackling Fundamentals and Pre-Conditioning Camp includes four sessions the week before practice starts. Proper tackling techniques, fundamentals and safety will be taught, and the camp allows players to begin practicing in pads on Aug. 1.

The camp takes place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday, July 25, through Thursday, July 28, at CrossPoint Church, 700 S. Westgreen. Cost of the camp is $95, and online registration is available at crosspointfootball.org. All players are welcome.  

The CrossPoint Youth Football season includes tackle, flag and cheer programs. Register online at crosspointfootball.org or at the Academy Sports and Outdoors store at Grand Parkway and Interstate 10 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 9 or at CrossPoint Church July 16 and July 23 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $145 for tackle, $125 for spirit squad and $125 for flag.

CrossPoint Community Church membership is not required to participate in camp or the football season, and limited scholarships are available.
