HS Volleyball Preview: Mayde Creek vs. Katy

Mayde Creek visits the courts of Katy in District 19-5A girls high school volleyball action on Tuesday. 

The Rams are 7-8 on the season and 2-1 in district play, losing 3-1 in a match against Taylor the last time out.    Sam Thompson leads the squad with an average of 2.5 kills per game.   After Tuesday's contest, Mayde Creek will host Seven Lakes on Friday at 4:30 p.m.   The Tigers are 13-12 on the season and 2-0 in district play, winning 3-1 over Morton Ranch in their last match.   Lydia McKay leads the team with an average of 4.14 kills per game.   Following Tuesday's game, Katy will visit Memorial on Friday at 4:30 p.m.    Tuesday's first serve begins at 5:30 p.m.
