Katy resident blamed for dog attack
A Katy man is being sued over claims his dog attacked a jogger.
Peter Bray filed a lawsuit on Jan. 30 in Harris County District Court against Katy resident Harold Payne, citing negligence and negligence per se.
Bray says on March 27, 2011, he broke his wrist while trying to protect himself from a circling dog, owned by Payne. According to the brief, the dog escaped Payne’s property and charged at Bray as he jogged through the neighborhood.
Bray is seeking damages and court costs. He is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Brad Wyly.
