A man was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana (0 to 2 grams) Jan. 29, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 20-year-old white male was booked at the Harris County Jail on Jan. 29, and is facing a misdemeanor charge. He resides on Smokey Hill.

A Katy woman was arrested and charged with theft between $50 and $500 on Jan. 30, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The woman, 18 years old, was booked at the Harris County Jail on Jan. 30, and is facing a misdemeanor charge. She resides on Northshire Lane.

A Katy man was arrested and charged with assault of a family member and evading arrest, detention with a previous conviction, Jan. 30, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 32 years old, was booked at the Harris County Jail on Jan. 30, and is facing misdemeanor and felony charges. He resides on Roberts Run Lane.

A man was arrested on a charge of possession of a penalty group 1 controlled substance (less than 1 gram) Jan. 31, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 35-year-old white male was booked at the Harris County Jail on Feb. 1, and is facing a felony charge. He resides in South Mason.

A Katy man was arrested and charged with theft between $50 and $500 on Jan. 31 the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 18 years old, was booked at the Harris County Jail on Feb. 1, and is facing a misdemeanor charge. He resides on Park Timbers Lane.

A Katy man is facing misdemeanor charges of failure to change address on driver's license, five counts of driving without a Texas operator's license, four counts of failure to maintain financial responsibility (no insurance), two counts of driving with expired registration, two counts of driving without or with an expired inspection sticker, operating a motor vehicle with defective equipment, bald tire, and failure to drive in single mark after being arrested Jan. 31, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 24 years old, resides on Windlewood Drive. He was booked Jan. 31.

A Katy woman was arrested and charged with two counts of speeding Feb. 1, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The woman, 22 years old, was booked at the Harris County Jail on Feb. 2, and is facing misdemeanor charges. She resides in Waverly Glend Drive.
