Katy realtors go the extra mile

Two Katy area real estate agents earned their master certified negotiation expert designation this month.

Rosemary Derstler and Cynthia Berry, agents from Prudential Gary Greene's Katy office, completed six intensive training sessions to receive the designation.

The courses taught participants negotiation skills, advanced customer service skills, and ways to move a deal out of deadlock.

Only 1 percent of real estate agents nationwide earn the designation.
