The following arrests were reported by local authorities for the period of Feb. 5 through Feb. 8:

A man was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on charges of possession of marijuana (0 to 2 grams) and driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol concentration over .08, the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 35-year-old white male lives in Cypressvine in Houston.

A man was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on charges of possession of prohibited weapon, assault causing bodily injury and retaliation, the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 26-year-old white male lives in East Avenue in Katy.

A man was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on a misdemeanor charge of theft ($500 to $1,500), the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 48-year-old white male lives in Cimarron Parkway in Katy.

A man was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on a felony charge of motion to revoke parole, the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 28-year-old white male lives in Cypressvine in Houston.

A man was arrested on a charge of robbery by threats on Feb. 6, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 23-year-old black male was booked at the Harris County Jail on Feb. 7 and is facing a felony charge. He resides in Provincial.

A Katy man is facing a misdemeanor charge of speeding in a school zone after being arrested on Feb. 6, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 18 years old, resides in Oak Creek Court. He was booked on Feb. 7.

A man was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on a felony charge of intoxicated manslaughter with a vehicle, the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 27-year-old white male lives in Fort Laramie in Katy.
