Katy ISD celebrates mentors at scholarship benefit
Keep Encouraging Youth toward Success (KEYS) mentors will be celebrated at Katy ISD's Ties & Tiaras event, supporting KEYS scholarships, on March 1.
The 2012 mentors of the year will be announced at the celebration, with entertainment provided by KISD high school performers. Mocktails and hors d'oeuvres from Hasta La Pasta will be provided.
Ticket sales, along with corporate sponsors, will benefit the KEYS Scholarship Fund. Since 2006, the fund has awarded $77,000 to graduating seniors through Partners in Education.
The event will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Agave Road, located at 1016 FM 1463 in Katy.
