Testosterone replacement clinic comes to Katy

Low T Center opened a new testosterone replacement clinic at 24124 Cinco Village Center Blvd., Katy, on Wednesday, Feb. 15.

The clinic will offer testosterone injections for men between the ages of 40 and 60 who require testosterone replacement therapy. Testosterone injections not only help boost a low sex drive but also can boost energy and decrease body fat, irritability and depression.

Kenneth Smith directs the center, and Dr. Joe Perkinson is the medical director. Men will be able to walk in, submit to a simple blood test and know within 30 minutes whether they are viable candidates for the testosterone injections. Those who qualify will be given the first injection on the spot and will receive injections three times per month.

The center is the second to open in the Houston area.
