Bridge repairs completed early
A segment of the IH-10 Katy Freeway westbound connector ramp to IH 45 North is open again after work crews completed repairs to it ahead of schedule.
According to a press release, the bridge is one of the oldest bridge structures in the Houston District and required a repair to correct a shifting of the roadway. To make the repairs, crews lifted a portion of the connector with large cranes and rotated it back into place. Additional repairs were made to strengthen the structure.
