Achievement: Steele was named Female Swimmer of the Meet at the District 17-5A Swimming & Diving Championships, winning the 200-yard freestyle and 100 butterfly and helping the 200 medley relay win gold.

Athlete: April Eggleston
Achievement: The senior post had a team-high 16 points to lead Taylor to a district sweep on defending champ Cinco Ranch with a 53-46 win.
