Where are the lowest gas prices in Katy?

Gas prices in and around Katy were lower compared to the averages for Texas, Houston, and the country as a whole this week, according to data from the price-tracking website Gasbuddy.com.

Visitors to the Gasbuddy.com website reported rates for 60 gas stations in and around Katy. As of Feb. 18, the average price of regular unleaded gas in Katy is $3.439 per gallon. Gasbuddy.com listed the Texas average at $3.466, Houston average at $3.458, and the nationwide average at $3.504.

The average gas price in Katy last week was $3.399 per gallon.

The least expensive gas price in Katy is reported to be $3.14 for a gallon of regular unleaded gas, which a Gasbuddy.com contributor logged as being available at Murphy USA, 6010 N. Fry Road and Plantation Grove Trail.

A Gasbuddy.com user reported the most expensive gas price in the area at $3.57, which was being sold at Chevron, 23307 Cinco Ranch Blvd. and Grand Parkway.
