Katy and Kumon Centers to host literacy open house
Katy area Kumon Centers have partnered with Reading is Fundamental to bring books to underprivileged children through a $50,000 donation and a nationwide literacy open house at participating Kumon Math and Reading Centers in the United States at various locations on March 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Kumon Math and Reading Center of Katy-West, 2322 Kingsland Blvd, Suite I, Katy; the Kumon Math and Reading Center of Katy-Pin Oak Village, 251 Pin Oak Road, Suite 109, Katy; and the Kumon Math and Reading Center of East Katy, 918 S. Fry Road, Katy, are all participating.
The open house is free, and refreshments, games and prizes will be provided to those who attend. Families are encouraged to bring a book to donate to RIF.
