Katy ISD to host Parent Conference and Resource Fair

The Family to Family Network and Katy ISD will host the seventh annual Parent Conference and Resource Fair from 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. on Saturday, March 3 at Cinco Ranch High School, 23440 Cinco Ranch Blvd., Katy.

The resource fair will run from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and feature more than 65 local and national exhibitors, including a number of businesses operated by young adults with disabilities.

The conference will have four breakout sessions on a wide variety of topics, including Learning in the Natural Environment, Conflict Management and Resolution Bullying, Technologies That Support Learning, A Parents Guide to Modeling Appropriate Behaviors at Home and Reading Strategies for Children with Learning Differences.

Some of the event's sponsors are Region 4 Educated Solutions, Hegwood & Associates P.C. and Walgreens.
