Katy ISD wants your used smartphones

Katy ISD seeks used smart technology so it can convert the devices into student Mobile Learning Devices to supplement the devices the district currently owns and provide additional technology in classrooms.

Katy ISD is looking to acquire used smartphones, tablets, iTouch and other mobile smart devices that can connect to the internet. Katy ISD is not accepting desktop computers, cell-phone only devices or laptops.

Those who can donate used smart technology is asked to drop it off at any Katy ISD campus or at the Education Support Complex. Donations are tax deductible. Staff will make sure that all devices are cleared and data is wiped before configuring them for student use.
