Katy Board of Education names new schools
The Katy Board of Education has named the four new schools that will open in the district in fall 2012 and is naming them after individuals who mentor and offer their time and resources to the community.
The schools will be named Tom Wilson Elementary (Elementary No. 33), Ray and Jamie Wolman Elementary (Elementary No. 34), Fred and Patti Shafer Elementary (Elementary No. 35) and Seven Lakes Junior High (Junior High No. 13).
