Pedestrian sues Katy driver
A driver from Katy is being sued over claims he struck a pedestrian in the 18400 block of Morton.
Laura Sedas Di Primio filed a lawsuit on April 5 in Harris County District Court against Katy resident Aby Joy, citing negligence.
Di Primio says on Feb. 16, she suffered injuries when Joy, who was traveling east in the 18400 block of Morton, drove off the road and struck her. According to the brief, the accident occurred even though Di Primio was walking far from the road and toward traffic, as required by law.
Di Primio is seeking damages and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Norman Straub.
