KHS hosts jazz festival
Katy High School will host the fourth annual Katy/West Houston Jazz Festival at 4 p.m. April 27 and 9 a.m. April 28.
Big bands and combos of student jazz musicians will perform throughout the day, with the evenings ending with professional performances.
The Friday night concert begins at 7:30 p.m. and features the Texas Music Festival Jazz Project.
The Saturday night concert begins at 7:30 p.m. and features the Katy ISD All-Star Jazz Band.
Tickets to feature concerts are $3 on Friday and $5 on Saturday and are available by visiting www.WestHoustonJazz.com.
Katy High School is located at 6331 Highway Blvd., Katy.
