Katy graduate pushes Baylor softball team to victory
Holly Holl, a 2010 graduate of Katy High School, went 3-for-4 with an RBI for Baylor in a 5-4 win over Texas on Wednesday.
At Katy, Holl was named to the All-District first team three times and the Houston Chronicle's 2009 All-Greater Houston Area first-team. That same year, Holl made the Collin Street Bakery 5A All-State third team.
In 2008, she led the Tigers to a 35-9 record and an appearance in the 5A state title game.
She played club ball for the Texas Magic Gold for coach Tommy Howe.
She is the daughter of Mark and Nylene Holl.
