Katy Walgreens sued over alleged parking lot accident
A woman is suing after, she says, she was injured while walking through the parking lot of a Katy-area Walgreens.
Silvia Torchia filed a lawsuit Friday, May 4 in the Harris County District Court against Walgreens, citing negligence.
Torchia says on May 7, 2010, she sustained serious injuries while walking through the parking lot of Walgreens, located at 2010 Fry Road in Katy. The injuries occurred when she fell after her foot was trapped between two improperly placed parking bumpers, according to the brief.
Torchia is seeking damages and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Cynthia Frederick.
