Katy Catholic church, Diocese blamed for fall
A woman is suing after, she says, she fell while attending an event at a Katy-area church.
Debra Blaibleh filed a premises liability lawsuit Monday, May 14 in the Harris County District Court against Katy-area St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, The Diocese of Galveston-Houston and others.
Blaibleh says on May 15, 2010, she sustained serious injuries while attending an event at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, located at 6646 Addicks Satusma Road. Because of poor signage, she fell down a stair, according to the brief.
Blaibleh is seeking damages and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Scot G. Dollinger.
