Annual golf tournament to benefit Placemaker Initiative

The Katy Area Fourth Annual Golf Tournament will take place June 14 at the Weston Lakes Country Club, 5646 Weston Drive, Weston Lakes.

Registration and lunch begins at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.

Funds raised from the tournament will benefit the Placemaker Initiative, an effort by the Economic Development Council to promote the Katy area and aid its development into a “culturally rich, aesthetically pleasing community.”
