Ten runners from Katy complete Wounded Warrior Half Marathon
Ten runners from Katy completed the Wounded Warrior Half Marathon on Sunday, June 10 in Las Colinas.
Ryan Reinbolt, 16, and Todd Demerchant, 44, were among the fastest Katy runners to finish. They completed the race in 1:48:09 and 1:57:17, respectively. Eight other local runners crossed the finish line.
A total of 1,514 runners finished the 13.1-mile race, which started and ended around Williams Square. The beneficiaries of the event are Semper Fi Fund, and ReserveAid.
Noel Fernandez of Irving was the men's overall winner with a time of 1:17:28, while Tara Upshaw of Southlake was the women's winner in 1:24:27.
