Lone Star Symphonic Band performs 'American Salute'
Crosspoint Community Church will host the Lone Star Symphonic Band, which will perform a patriotic salute to armed forces members and their families on July 1.
The Lone Star Symphonic Band has scheduled its "American Salute" concert for 4 p.m. July 1.
The concert will be held at the Crosspoint Community Church, 700 S. Westgreen. Tickets are $5.50 in advance or $10 at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased online at www.lonestarsymphonicband.com.
Steve Hoyle will conduct a community chorus that will accompany the band on several pieces. Selected works for both ensembles include "Stars and Stripes Forever," "God Bless the U.S.A.," "America, The Beautiful" and "God of Our Fathers."
