BP tax lawyer grabs Katy 5BD

Ralph B. Portell Jr. and Leila B. Portell acquired a five-bedroom, four-bath home at 22706 Bridgehaven Drive in Katy from Richard and Lisa Rosenberg on Jan. 1.

The 3,989-square-foot house, which was built in 2000 in Grand Lakes, is valued at $379,860.

Ralph Portell is a lawyer and has worked as tax manager at BP Exploration Alaska Inc., a subsidiary of oil company BP America.

He received his J.D. from South Texas College of Law.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 3,662 home sales in Katy during the last 12 months.
