Sales manager, head groundskeeper buy 4BD home in Katy

Sarah Detmore and Brad Detmore acquired a four-bedroom, two-bath home at 5806 Walkabout Way in Katy from Cheryl B. Landry on March 29.

The 2,204-square-foot house, built in 1996, is in Cinco Ranch. It is part of the Cinco Ranch Southpark subdivision.

Ms. Detmore is a group sales manager at Sam Houston Race Park, a horse-racing track. Previously, she was a marketing manager at Dr. Pepper Arena - Dallas Stars, a group sales manager at Cedar Park Center, a special events coordinator at Dave & Buster's and a sales representative at Round Rock Express.

She holds a B.S. in sport management from Texas A&M University.

Mr. Detmore is the head groundskeeper for the Sugar Land Skeeters, a professional baseball team. Previously, he was an assistant head groundskeeper for the Houston Texans and head groundskeeper for both Round Rock Express and Corpus Christi Hooks.

He attended Concordia University, Austin.
