Insurance exec buys 4BD home in Katy

Brian S. Tiarks and Leslie M. Tiarks acquired a four-bedroom, four-bath home at 4518 Gladesdale Park Lane in Katy from David A. Gayler, Julie M. Gayler and In Fact Attny on March 29.

The Gaylers acquired the property in February 2000. The 3,886-square-foot house, built in 1999, is in Cinco Ranch. It is part of the Cinco Ranch North Lake Village.

Mr. Tiarks is the managing director of the casualty department at Wortham Insurance & Risk Management, where he was previously an associate director.

He holds a B.B.A. in associate in risk management from Towson University.

Mr. Gayler is a principal architect at SolarWinds, a provider of IT management software. Previously, he was a chief software architect and co-founder of EminentWare, a software architect at Symantec and a product architect at BindView.

He attended Texas A&M University.
