AD Players' summer drama camp plays out at Faith West Academy

Sadie Sink and Madeline Carter participate in one of the youth drama camps offered by AD Players, which is hosting a weeklong camp at Faith West Academy in Katy.

The AD Players will offer a summer drama camp for participants ages 12-18 from July 16-20.

The camps will meet from 4-7 p.m. at Faith West Academy, 2225 Porter Road in Katy.

The camp includes workshops that will explore acting skills and techniques, such as character development, incorporating action verbs with intentions and motivations, improvisation, acting fundamentals, team work, facial expressions, voice technique, storytelling and more.

The AD Players is a theater group that promotes human value, creativity, literacy and education. The group was founded in 1967 by Jeannette Clift George.
