Runners from Katy complete Xterra Magnolia Hill Trail Run 16K

Three runners from Katy completed the Xterra Magnolia Hill Trail Run 16K on Sunday, July 8 in Navasota.

Travis Rieber, 33, completed the race in 1:36:12; Jamie Rodriguez, 51, crossed the finish line in 1:42:23; and Jay Yanek, 47, took 1:49:02.

A total of 66 runners finished the 16K race, which was held in Magnolia Hill Ranch. The race is the fourth of five races in the 2012 Xterra Texas Trail Run Series.

James Custer, of Oklahoma City, was the men’s overall winner with time of 1:18:14, and Meredith Leva, of Austin, was the women’s winner in 1:25:21.
